Welcome!

I am a pediatric nurse doing my best to age backwards and never lose that horrible and exciting feeling of navigating a world where every move felt dictated by great powers beyond your control. I grew up juggling two halves of myself, and between the long summers in Japan, and what felt like a continuation of even longer ‘summers’ in the desert, my writing likes to explore what it means to be connected: whether it be to nature, to people, or to ourselves.

When I am not working, writing (or daydreaming of writing), you can find me obsessing over my dogs, dancing, napping, or planning my next overseas getaway.
